Quality woods and a well-tested violin design make the Realist Violin's acoustic tone recognizably sweet and rich. When not amplified, RV Series violins sound like a violin should - rich and clear. There is no need to compromise sound quality when playing a Realist violin "unplugged". Ned Steinberger and David Gage have conceived a truly acoustic amplified violin. The ergonomically-placed, acoustically-integrated jack keeps the instrument balanced and conveniently conceals the cable. The integrated volume knob enables the player immediate access to volume control on stage. Whether youre into rock, hip-hop, bluegrass or good old fiddling, a Realist RV Series Violin is the answer. The Realist Violin sports technological advances as well as time-tested hand-craftsmanship. The input jack is built in to the back, which is crafted to accommodate the added weight and material. In its position at the violin's corner block and the back, the jack is easily accessed and allows the patch cable to be dressed away out of sight and out of the player's way. The player's bow arm is free to move unimpeded because of the jack's placement while the instrument's acoustic sound is unaffected.
